simon1 i asked once!!!! oil filter housing seal cost more than the filter... you would off thought it would be in the box with the filter.. i service my mates 3 series and the oil filter elemnet comes with 3 o rings

Alan ps I think it says in the haynes manual to replace it but when I asked at the parts desk the guy said it would be fine just to use the old one???
vocky I only found out there's two options because the parts guy asked which I wanted, so I bought both :lol:
Europa_Blue_SE1 Cheers vocky mate I think I'll just get a new one when I'm getting the sump plug o-ring for my next oil-filter change for £3-4 I'm aswell getting a new one... another quick question vocky mate how many miles do you think is the best to do a oil-filter change I do it every 3k with a full service on the 10k just VXLs seem to eat the oil...
