Ill stick this in here even if its not technically engine related

when i split my box + engine moons ago a part had broken off when the engine mount bolts to,

is this possible to fix ? - if so does anyone know any good cheap places in the north east that would do it ?
Ive some alloy mig wire, but ive never tried using it before, could i do this ?

it needs TIG welding 🙂

'mig + alloy welding' don't quite work :roll:

I tried and gave up, not enough heat is generated by the mig, gas welding would work dunno..

bah, guess im going to have to find somewhere to do it, heh just hope they dont take as much time as other places.........

theres a welding place near where i work, ill walk in and talk to them tommorrow

Make sure as plain as day you will pay by cash.

if the threads are bad you could drill straight through and use a nut dunno..
