Vectra traction control modification !!

Hi all, just aqquired a traction control switch for £3.70 on ebay !!

The how too's on here are amazing !! One question, what wire should I use ? Is it just a case of a bit of average electrical wire from the shops ?

Also, ive made a how too on cruise control in a vec 150 with loads of pictures, who shall i send it to ? (Its in Microsoft works format, is this ok ?)

any 0.5 or 0.75 cable will be fine.

Been after a cruise control arm and clutch switch at the right price for some time, not paying stupid money.
Also relay for the intermittant Omega wiper.

that omega wiper 'how2' on vvoc took ages to sort out :roll:

btw Neil that steering wheel don't suit your vec so you should sell it to me cheap :lol:

you also need the relay from the same car and a little bit of DIY wiring. it takes about half hour to do.

Can you buy the stalk new, and if so about how much?

Anyone have the codes for both parts (relay and stalk)

stalk for hatchback with mid is about £55 if i remember correctly

part number is 90494657

and the relay is 90494187 and about £30

or try your luck on fleabay...lol

wow .. what a great mod. never even knew that sort of stalk existed.

big question is, does anyone think it's possible to shoe-horn this onto an Astra SRi .. ?? I guess the stalk to buy is the non-MID button version for the hatchback, but if someone could compare the veccy stalk to the astra one I'd be much obliged!
