offset choice

Hi one & all, had a quick flich through the forum using the search option and thought it best to ask the pro`s straight out anyway.

Seen a set of alloys that arent too bad but are pretty reasonable as Ive not a huge amount of spare dosh month to month.

Advert gives a choice of offsets-------

5x108 ET35

5x108 ET47

5x110 ET47

5x110 ET35

5x114.3 ET35

5x120 ET35

I saw in one thread that Astras/Vectras are ok between 35 - 45? whats with the other numbers? notsure.gif

Hello drakey,

Not to well up on this im afraid but ill try !! The 5 in '5x108' refers to your vectra being a 5 stud application and the 108 part refers to the distance between the studs. Something like that !!! I this wheels are measured in pitch, circumference and diameter. Hope this helps !! Hope it right too !!!!

Someone will correct me if im wrong. Im not sure what the measurement is for the vectra tho !!

Ta for that, I know its possible to fit differing sizes on but requiring spacers and longer bolts etc........ dont really want to go down that route.

both of these offsets are wrong, you need around a 43 offset

5 being the amount of studs and 110 being the vauxhall stud pattern distance 🙂

have I any limits for the ET value, I`ve seen another set advertised for a Vectra with an offset of 38!!!!

I got 18's on mine with a 49 offset...on standard susp they rubbed like billio

the standard sri wheels are et 44 prise your hubcap off and its on the wheels.
