luna_s yeah, vx220 cam chain snapped just before xmas, so been rebuilding it since has piper cams, eagle rods, wiseco pistons, no balance shafts and a mild head port also lightened flywheel, pretty much everything has been renewed!
Hareng Well done wouldnt mind doing that to mine. Whats the ex manifold, where from and how much? Will it clear the Veccy obstacles, think it will. I can make up the 2:1 downpipe, flexi, Lambda and performance cat with flanges.
vocky it's a big job to fit it to a vectra, but it can be done :roll: the total cost is about £225 imported from the usa 🙂 this was how I made mine

2_2SRi Sorry to hi jack this tread but im sure i have an oil leak (slight) from the metal pipe that runs between the engine block and exhaust on that pic in the first post. Runs horizontal from one side of the engine to the other. Does anyone know what it is as ive not had time to check properly. Thanks
Daz The largeish one....its a water pipe and runs between the waterpump and thermostat housing,so u shudnt have oil leaking from it
2_2SRi Hummmm, when ive looked from underneath at work its like a pipe that goes into an housing on the timing chain side, with a few bolts in a circle holding the housing on??? If this isnt it, maybe its coming from higher up then.
