cam caps help!

which way do the cam caps go ? notsure.gif when i got my replacemet head the cam caps were in a bag :roll:

currently i have them set up like

exhaust side has 1-5 with 1 closest to the timing chain

inlet has has 6-10 with 6 closest to the timing chain

all arrows are pointing to the timing chain

The caps are numbered 1-10 with all the numbers being the right way up when viewed from the drivers seat. Numbers 1-5 on the exhaust camshaft starting from the timing chain end of the engine, and numbers 6-10 on the intake camshaft starting at the timing chain end. Refit the 11th cap on the front camshaft, at the flywheel end of the cylinder head which the power steering pump is mounted to if its a Vectra B.
