Matt Now, the quality of these aftermarket ones isn't very good to be honest. The hole for the beam height adjuster motor isn't very good, and I ended up breaking the connection inside the light trying to get it to fit, so I've lost that feature now 🙁 And the fitment/alignment isn't as good as the OE stuff either. Other than that, they don't look bad at all.
Matt Stinky said: These off ebay Matt? And damn mind that kerb  snowman (Leon) on here got them for me. That kerb isn't anything to worry about, I turned into it to get access to the other screw on the offside wheel arch
DBcoup a few of the tinted coupe ones come up on ebay although there's usually a few marks on them  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Head-lamps-Astra- ... dZViewItem
Andy_Coupe Looks much better Matt, i know what you mean about those level adjusters, when fitting the angle eyes to mandys Tigra i couldn`t get the motor to click into the inside of the light.
Daz Is the reflector holding still in the case matt...as sometimes without the motor connected they just move around
Matt Daz said: Is the reflector holding still in the case matt...as sometimes without the motor connected they just move around It is yeah, but it actually snapped off, and I can't get it out, because the hole isn't a very good shape, so I've just left it in there.
Matt Thread from the dead I know, but I've actually got round to fixing the broken headlight adjuster this morning. I can't see it moving much at the minute, but I don't have a wall to check it against
Matt lol, I know, they got through the MOT last time as "they were working when tested" but I'm using a different tester this year, so had to get it fixed
Matt The headlight adjuster works! I just need to get the alignment sorted, and it's all good. I'm actually quite surprised at how much of a difference having the beam pointing back up has made. It illuminates the road so much better than before, as it was pointing straight to the ground.
Jamee i think mine out, or the bulbs are just really cr@p. I would like to get the HIDs Daz got but ive heard they are a bit of a pig to fit to the astra.
Matt Yeah, I heard the same as well. Some people have fitted them, and it was easy, but some said it's a pain in the arse.
