A little stuck

I am a little stuck on a few things on what places they go to notsure.gif . I think the black pipe just hangs down over but the blue pipe needs to go sone place and the plug has me stuck dunno..

This is how far I am at the moment. I have all the wiring sorted out under the hood, most of the stuff is plugged in. I am going to try and get it in for an Mot today 🙂

The blue pipe runs along the back of the oil filter housing. It's a breather pipe by the looks of it. The black breather pipe comes from behind or at the side of the over flow pipe near to the servo. The plug is just located at the front. It looks like it needs to be plugged in as the wires are thick on the plug. Cheers mate

Ah, I am sure the both pipes join together now as they both reach each other lol

I'm sure the plug is spare, the earlier vectras had an electric pump next to the headlight, the z22se doesn't have it.

Well it runs so I don't think I need that plug then. I have a few spare ones in that area on the pasenger side headlight area. Cheers

The vacuum pipe could be for the resirculation valve and the lecky plug maybe for the headlamp washer pump.

wiring colour matches the secondary air pump, different colours for the headlight washer pump 🙂

The blue and black pipes do join together with a rubber sleeve around by the EGR valve. The black bit of the pipe disappears into the bulk head somewhere.

I'm a little confused about those 2 vacuum pipes attached to the inlet manifold. My inlet only has one pipe going to it?? Why has yours got 2 pipes?

that's my fuel pressue regulator mod, your pipe will go to the air intake pipe.

depends who you believe notsure.gif

for: increases fuel pressure at lower rpm, allows the standard inlet pipe to be replaced.

against: too much fuel pressure at low rpm.

I used it on my vec because of wanting more fuel pressure at low rpm and I needed to replace the inlet pipe - both due to the 68mm throttle body.

did I notice a difference, no.
