Final Stage - She is running. Now with video clip

Well today I started up the Vectra showo.. . I only have a few little issues to sort out like I only have an oil light showing up on my dash clocks when I turn the ignition on, then when I start her up she shows a battery light and the oil light notsure.gif . I cranked her over and she started up lovely, first turn of the key 8) . Now I need to check out some wiring under the hood near the battery as I have something wrong, maybe a wire missing dunno.. . I will post a video of her running later today 🙂

oil pressure switch wire = blue/green

alternator = blue/white

Here is the wire I am stuck on. I think this is the one I need plugged in as it's coming from the main plug. My climate control also works good, it came on full blast, even though I need it charged up with gas 🙂.

Cheers. I will use it for a while then sell it as I would like Vectra C 2.2 to try out. I just hope i can get £2000 from it with it being an 02 model.........

Cool. Can you see anything from the pictures that would make my dash clocks not work right. I still have a few wires left but I think they are for the lights and stuff

the dash warning lights work via that big green plug and come directly from the engine area 🙂

I had a quick mess around with the old clocks and they light up fine now. I have just found out what miles the engine has on her 22854 miles. Video coming up very soon. Just uploading it now....

Cheers. I am very happy. Just tidying up to do on it now like puting the wires away nice and neet and finishing off inside with some of the plastics. 🙂 This time next week I hope it's on the road moted and taxed. I also now have the full V5
