Leaky intake

Is the following just a breather from the head, into the intake? I want to replace it, as it appears to have a grommet push-fit into the intake pipe which is loosely held in with zip ties. I'm worried about leaks so want to replace this, anyone tell me what it is and a part number please (all parts I might need)?

I have to go and get my EGR blank in the next few days anyway.

not sure of the part number, but the main dealer will know 🙂

it's the air intake pipe between the air filter and throttle body.

The air intake pipe seems ok (though can't compare), it just seems to be the push-fit pipe that comes FROM the cam cover which doesn't fit. In the sameway as the air intake sensor???

if I need to replace the lot, then that's what I'll do!

the fitting should be glued into the pipe, so it's one piece

you could fit a vec C pipe like JohnnyN, needs the oil breather pipe moving to a catch tank though :roll:

So that breather pipe connectore (not the pipe) is glued into the intake. So to clean this up, need a whole new intake pipe?

Ah well ....

Hope vauxhall don't rob me too much for a bit of plastic ....

I don't think they are too dear, the vecC pipe was under £20 🙂
