just had my climate regassed & vac-ed by local garage and it does not work?????
when i bought it the system had some pressure but i though i did not have enough to make the low px microswitch to allow system operation.
i know the system should have a high pressure and low pressure microswitch to facilitate operation and prevent system damage due to having either too high or too low pressure but am none the wiser with regards to this as last car had manual aircon and you could see all the bits under the bonnet unlike my vecrta b 2.2 cdx i have.
all the other fan and position functions on the climate control system work ok and it seems to work ok in auto whilst adjusting temps apart from the actual compressor functioning. re-circ function also works fine as well.
the system vac-ed ok and pressurised up ok but the compressor could not be heard clicking in.
does anyone have any pics of where the pressure switches are or any solid ideas i can check, eg wiring connections and the likes without system pipeline disturbance.
i am at a loss with this and obviously do not want to go down the route of spending loads of £££££££££'s getting it fixed so any advice would be greatley appreciated.
