Just had one made up, well i say just i had it done on thursday at MIJ in Walsall. I kept with the 2" pipe diameter all the way through, but has been made free flowing with smaller siliencers in everyway possible. Kept with the oval design too. Total cost was £274.94. I know it was a far old drive up from southampton but it was my week off and we went up wednesday to Cadbury factory aswell as,hmmm chocolate, and stayed in a travel lodge overnight.
Hazard to say this'll be my last time i stay in one of those god foresaken hell holes, it was just fucking terrible, the matress was lumpy as old arseholes, to say it was well worn would be an understatement. The bathroom was grotty, no shampoo on offer or soap. There was no extra towels or bog roll, wouldnt mind but there wasnt more than a few feet to start with. Plus it was worse than the stuff you get at school, would have been more effective rubbing your arse up and down a lamp post. So down to the shops for some quilted velvet. The drawer marked hairdryer, when opened guess what it had init..... fook up, false advertising there. But hey it had a bible at least, but even i wont rip the pages out to wipe my arse on.
So back to the exhaust, i opted for the mid-sport, nice and subtle, cruising speed its quiet, idling its quiet just with a little noticable difference, full throttle and gearing down de-accelerating is sheer music, often popping on the way up and down gear changes. Whilst im really happy with it all i thought it could have been a touch better, the centre and rear pipes are welded together, really nice welds but i thought i would have been nice to be sleved, but at the same time am i likely to take the exhaust down again? Not really. And the other thing was they welded it to the cat pipe, although again would have been nice to be sleved for replacement later on like 4 branch or sports cat, but its not that its not accessable. But otherwise a top job and excellent results.
Would be nice to see the results of modifications so far on an RR but i think ill start trying for more so might just leave it.
