If you have big feet your screwed in a MG. lol

My parents have one, and i only have size 10, and i have problems with the peddles, also, im about 5ft 10, and the seat doesnt go far enough back for me to sit in it properly, i am too far forward.

Do love the Mk4, could be an option, family requires a 4 door really and after having the 2 door Sport, it wouldnt be the same. The new shape diesels are magic but wouldnt be happy with anything less than the Sri. (the looks at least).

Cheers for all the comments, its really hard to know what suits my needs, fits my budget, I like the look of and I dont get slated for.

Fancied a Fiat Stilo (Italian yuck!)
Dont like many Fords Mention Renault (French yuck!) People say go German (Too expensive) Quite like the MG (you buggers dont)

still quite fancy one, the head gasket seems to be the biggest problem, but solved a bit by fitting the one from the Freelander.

I know lots of people have critisized the MG, on the other hand, if I had looked on this Forum prior to getting the Vectra I may have thought twice with all the chain and gearbox/clutch problems people are getting.

Swings & Roundabouts really. You can get a problem free car or a spnking new one riddled with problems, -----shame I was the later.

Temped to save the money I would no doubt have to spend on a trade in and sort the Vectra out. I do love it, just fed up of spending on problems rather than fancy bit for it. dunno..

Okay you say the its only the head gasket problems for the K series or the V6, but its still a big expense just to change that gasket. Im sorry but they're crap, well i say that, its the engines, if it wasnt for them the MG/Rover brand will still be going strong as they are nice cars to drive. Just dont do it, or if you do the diesel versions arent that bad.

Were they still using the Pug lumps up until they died in the 25/45 style MG's? I cant remember, i know the 75 was a BMW diesel.

Another problem with rover is the interior. They are just damn awful.(Manufactured in Toys are Us i think) Expect lots of rattles and noises. Why don't you go for an older Audi A4? They come in a variety of engine sizes and there realiablility can't be beat.

I`ve had a few problems, mainly electrical due to my LPG conversion,

a bit of a graunch from the clutch at the mo`, nothing major.

Cant complain really, just a bit bitter that Ive spent so much money chasing faults on the sodding LPG snag.

Looked at an MG today and the interiors poo.

STICKING WITH THE VECTRA AND GONNA GET IT SORTED.
