air con help

could some one please post a picture showing where you regas your air con from found two tyre sort of things ones on the cooling fan when you lift hud and the other one is on the drivers side in the engine bay on a pipe leading into the bulk head the car is a coupe. your help wold be most appreciated. dunno..

cheers for the replies but when you say they use both can you just use one or do you have to use the two of them as i am going to buy some regas and leak sealer of the mac man at work it comes in one can and does both in one application it also has a dial on the can to tell you how much you need to use not a bad price only 40 quid plus vat .

Tried the can of the mac man myself,was totally useless....so save the £40 and get it regassdd properly...

Some car have actually only got one connection for the aircon,its a total pain to regass them as u have to swap the pipes over on the machine etc...

cheers daz, the last time i had it regased it cost me only 35 quid but it must have a small leak on it as it has not lasted 12 months still working but not ice cold as it was.

When being regassed the machine does a vaccum check on the system,which in theory can pull back the seals and thus no leak,but once pressurised it cud leak...

Kwik Fit round here are recharging for £44.95 all in, and they have even said if they cant make it 10% cooler than what it was previous, then you dont pay anything!!

had it regased today ice cold again told to leave it runing even in winter as this will stop the seals going dryand prevent it from leaking is ths true
