I put a deposit down on this a while back, and because the DVLA are useless, I've still not managed to sell my car (private plate issues), but as I'm buying from my sister, I have the luxury of time 8)

It's a 2002 02 plate (as you can see) 49k on it, FVSH, polished religiously every weekend, very well looked after.

So, even though I've not yet got the car, I've been stockpiling bits.

So far, I have bought -

Bonnet Lifters
LMF Quickshift lever
Black headlights
Vectra C inlet
Pipercross panel filter
EGR blanking plate
Traction Control switch and trim

I also have a spare rocker cover, but I don't know what to do, polished or painted :?

Then there's the Vibe CBR10Evo active sub thing from my old car, which I'll fit as it's doing nothing at the moment and I might as well (I don't like dance music though, so it's there to enhance the sound, honest :roll: )

After this stuff is fitted, the plan is for 308mm discs, Vectra GSi phase 2 wheels, GAZ coilovers, Irmscher crosshatch grille, a gunmetal Coupe centre console and gear lever trim set and a nice exhaust, then a few mods for a little more power, possibly a little knitted cover for the metal gearknob which the quickshift has , to make it touchable in the winter :lol:

I might even go for a GSi front, sides and rear spoiler, with an SRi-T rear valance, but I'm not sure yet, the Irmscher stuff will do, for now, at least.

I'll update this as I go, with plenty of pictures of the work as I'm doing it, there will be a MASSIVE update when I eventually get the ver (which hopefully won't be too much longer now :roll:

Nice car, really like the irmsher kit and that colour looks great. looks in very good condition and has low mileage too.

You may want to think about getting the timimng chain done to be on the safe side. Look forward to seeing the progress picks. V-intrested in the short shifter.

Did you buy the F23 short shifter & lever or just the M-Tech short shifter.

Shortshift arrived today, there's an exploded diagram with it, but no fitting instructions, so that's going to be fun :lol:

Time to invest in a Haynes manual I think.

It's the full thing with the lever, it's a B&M one with a different knob on it in fact, the exploded diagram with it has a B&M logo on the knob :lol:

The knob alone weighs more than the rest of the lever.

Oh, the odd thing was, it was advertised on eBay by 'vauxhall-tuning-uk', the Paypal account and invoice were from LMF and they left feedback with 'eibach-direct' at the end. I think they need to get their story straight :lol:

Keep us informed on how you get on fitting this, as i am very intrested. The only issue i have heard with poeple fitting these is reverse is slightly hard to find afterwards, but not sure how true this is.

The lights turned up today, bought them from Amber Performance, who I would use again, without a doubt.

They are amazing quality too.

Does anyone know who makes the genuine Vauxhall ones?
