Matt I think my flexi pipe is blowing as i can hear hissin from underneath when car under pressure - can it be fixed or how much to replace... does the whole cat have to be replaced too.
vocky the flexi is part of the downpipe + cat section 🙁 a few options, get a new flexi welded in - £50 ish get a second hand section - £75 ish buy a 'pattern part' section - £135 ish buy a genuine section - loads :lol:

Matt Cheers Guys... Does a blowing flexi pipe make the engine louder - i mean theres a constant tinny hissing noise from under the front end
vocky could be the flexi or the manifold, but the manifold usually quietens down when the engine warms up
Matt just bought one of those new cats systems, had garage check it for me and they said thats its blowing - carnt belive how weak flexi pipes are - and how much they make when they blow - ive lost smoe power with it blowin too.
