Symptoms of a faulty CAT?

Can anyone tell me what the symptoms might be?

Got a feeling the CAT is on it's way out.. car sounds rough, runs like it's blocked up, struggles to start and is possibly overfueling....

Had a car in work yesterday,sypmtom were ,it wudnt pull ure hat off,,and sounded really restricted and misfiring....the cat had broken up and had blocked the exit pipe,thus causing the engine to gas itself in theory,

Hmmmm..i need help....

I've had the car at 2 garages and had the RAC man out... and still no answers..

It starts (just), runs and ticks over pretty rough, stalls and seems to be flooding the engine occasionaly...lacks power and still feels like it's blocked up....No error codes either.
Coil pack and plugs replaced.

I'm thinking the CAT but no one will confirm this, is there anyway of testing it?...

Losing faith at the moment 🙁

I thought that there was usually a bad sulphur smell too when they go wrong??

the easiest way is go to a decent exhaust place, they can remove the pipe and check 🙂
