Cleaning your car can go as far as you want it to. I would suggest Meguires NXT or Gold Class Shampoo, then a Meguires Waffle towel to dry, then Meguires 3-Stage Deep Crystal Kit with Meguires applicator pads and a good microfibre towel for polishing off the wax.
This is just a simple start to cleaning. You could also do with a Clay Bar Kit from Meguires for use on the paintwork after washing.
