baldie87 hi this might just be me but the car seems to be running really hot to day, the temp gauge is sitting in the middle. this is norm?
Europa_Blue_SE1 as above mine is normally sitting at about 80 sitting in traffick or stationery it raises up to 90 or just above but if I put the heating on it starts to fall again... but I wouldn't say there is anything to worry about mibbe check your coolant level if it's changed if not wouldn't think there's anything to worry about mate...
Europa_Blue_SE1 yep mate 90s the middle 80s the first mark... really as long as it doesn't go higher I wouldn't think you have anything to worry about my wee bros Veccy B sits at 90 and everything seems fine with his never had the mechanic say anything about it dunno..
Andy my wifes mk3 astra used to sit at either 90 or 95 (can't remember which lol). i swore blind it was too high but everyone i spoke to said it was fine as long as the cooling fan was kicking in ok.
Mark_647 Mines sits about there, ive only heard my fan come on once tho, and that was climbing a very steep mountain for ages in first gear !! (It was very steep and too many corners to go fast enuf for 2nd lol
