yes, probably why after changing the chain some members report the engines performance increases dunno..

Hello, hope your chain hasnt caused too much damage !! :shock: Im assuming youve got the old and defective timing kit (Nozzle,etc) fitted to the car ? Hope its ok mate

Yea it will be the old kit, the car is a 01 model with 61K on the clock so it was due to go i guess....
Shame i only found this site after the initial problem, but at least i've since found shed loads of usefull info on here which helped me prove to my mechanic it was the chains 😃

New Chain fitted today.
Car started first time and runs sweet again... 😃 😃
