Mayonaise??

Pulled out the dip stick to check the oil and there seems to be what i can only describe as a small about of a mayonaise/yellow sludge present. Not alot just a small amount. I know this is usually associatied with a head gasket failier but this is not the case. My car is running perfect, not losing any power or using any oil or water.

Should i be worried??

Have you been doing small start stop journeys? Have you changed the oil recently? may just be condensation.

Personally i would check the oil level then give it a really good long run and give it some beans when warm as well. other wise may be a HG failure?

Mine does that when its not been used. the head gasket could be on its way out.

short trips usually cause a little build up, it's just condensation :roll:

All seems ok now. Took it for a good run and oil is now clear. Thanks for the info. guys.
