Here she is with no doors, and looking well just shit, i nearly had an heart attack when i saw they took the doors of.

What mesh shall i use where deslatted it, halfords only have black metal ones, and that will stone chip straight away and look shite.

What you think?

As vocky says it will look ok wen finished m8....seenalot more filler than that in cars in the past....one thing tho...now wud be the time to decide wether to have twin tailpipes....

daz - i like the remus, it gives a nice growl and not boy racerish.
Will the filler crack tho as the door opens and closes over the next few months?.. im quite worried now as everyone is saying its way too much filler, and they shouldnt have took the doors off to keep the lines and gaps etc.. (which i agree on tho).

As already said, I've seen a hell of a lot more filler than that used before now. It's easier for them to spray the car with the doors off, and as long as they do re-fit them to alight the joins etc, it will be fine.

So what mesh shall iuse then? the blavk metal ones from halfords will chip away very easily i think, and the silver i think may look too in your face.

Mate it's not really the fact that they have took the doors off that will cause the filler to crack as I said to you in a post before about asking them what they are using to fill it with as if it's done right with the right amount of silicone and fibreglass it should have enough play so it doesn't crack if they've just used fibreglass to fill it it will crack in time but if they mix the silicone through it it gives it a bit more play also make sure they put metal plates on to hold your new bumpers in place especially the front one! Also I might sound as if I'm being a bit picky here but if I had walked into a bodyshop that was doing my car to see my wheels sitting under the rear hubs I wouldn't be to happy I mean what if they drop it's right onto your alloys do they not have a ramp and also mate just out of curiousity do they have an oven? And are you getting a full respray or just the kit and a touch up?
Looking forward to seeing the car finished she will look the Mutts Nu**s 8)

Europa - Not sure what they have used, just filler i think, ill check later, yeah they got an oven, its on the other side of the garage, and thay are spraying the 2 complete bumpers and halfway up the sides to blend in.
