kompliance WORKING WINDSCREEN WIPERS!!! It's amazing, they return to the spot they came from and don't park in the middle of the windscreen when i'm done with them. Maybe there is a god after all 😃
kompliance Yep a new windscreen motor got fitted as the old one had some relay fault. About £200 to fix all in. That takes my yearly maintenance up to over £700 in just over 6 months ... the most expensive car i've ever had to keep maintained 🙁
Hareng I wonder whats going to greet me over the next 12 months, for sure it will be those nasty jobs. Cost in the last two months over 3k parts only and i aint finished yet. Brakes and cat to do. Just had four tyres and will need two more fronts in the next two months.
Europa_Blue_SE1 As said OUCH my window wipers are also on their way out I don't think it's the motor I think it's the rail thing that keeps the two wipers together the wipers don't seem to have enough power on the first switch where they go intermitant I need to use the second click up wether it's pi**ing down or it's only spitting when you bought your motor mate did you buy it from VXL and did the rail come with it? just when I bought one for my hatchback the motor came with the rail also? Just that's one of the many things on my shopping list for my car mate 🙁 cheers.. Alan

I was quoted 130 odd for the motor from VXL and over £200 for fitting. Next on the list is the power sounder and drivers wing mirror cover. After that i'd of covered every common fault you could of had with an astra I think! The next owner is going to be safe in the knoweledge that this car isn't going wrong in a long time 🙂
