if your egr valve is broken it will cost at least £85 for a new egr valve :cry:

this little pcb mimics the egr valve and only costs £10, which goes straight to the site - so everybody benefits 😃

I didn't think you could blank the egr on the 2.2's what does the valve do?

Will blanking it off increase erformance?

the egr valve can be removed from the z22se engine, in the usa they never even fitted it

you do need to fit an egr cheater to stop the eml a missing egr valve would otherwise cause

you don't gain performance, but you do stop the crap it normally allows into the engine

the egr (exhaust gas recirculation) valve allows the exhaust gases back into the engine, so basically it soots up the throttle body and inlet manifold.

have a look underneath your throttle body, the black crap is caused mainly by the egr valve, the rest is oil from the engine breather, the two combined = a burn't black mess

thanks for the reply, im thinking of removing it anyway just to avoid problems in the future
