What's the first thing I should do?

I have a Pipercross panel filter, and I'll derestrict the airbox when I fit it.

Other than that, and an Irmscher backbox, it'll be standard.

I plan to go for the 308mm disc setup and sort the suspension out somehow, and fit a traction control switch too...

But what's the next logical step for more power?

It's an Astra BTW, if that makes any difference?

Vectra C pipe to the air box is usually the next step from Panel Filter and de-restricting the ait box. Also, remove the pre-cat if your Astra is fitted with one. After that, remus centre section will free us a couple more BHP, and also give a nice note to the standard Irmscher backbox.

With the pre-cat, am I better off buying a new one to drill out as the old one will be rusty?

Also, does anyone have a part number for the Vectra inlet pipe? I can't seem to find it anywhere 🙁

Main Pipe = 9177099
Adaptor for Airbox = 9177104

i have heard that the precat can be a bit of a bugger to get out. i never drilled mine out, i bought a new downpipe as my flexi was blowing and there was no precat in it 😃

Right, so if I do the precat, airbox mods (remove the pipes, fit vectra pipe) and fit the pipercross filter, what sort of gains will I see?

And is it worth blannking the EGR off now, while it still works? I remember it was a pain on my Corsa as it went wrong and cost loads to replace :roll:

From the above I think you'll be looking at good 6bhp increase on standard.
