I`m 33, earn just shy of 30k, after tax and kids I probably see about £30. 😃

Im 27 and earn £32k ish a year (have done for last 3-4 yrs roughly) This is working 4 on 4 off 12 hr night shifts in charge. This mainly goes on a brand new house we bought just short of 2 years ago (first time buyer and all that so the spending adds up when your starting from scratch)

I am 33 and earned just over 16k last year through an agency I have been with for 2 years. My agency might be no more by the end of the week and my wage goes up. I just need to get past a skills test in the next few days 🙂

Yep, it's a big draw on funds. I've been doing as many Sundays as possible on Double Time to pay for the extra things which you don't take into consideration when firist working out the budget....like £150 on balloons for the evening reception :shock:

As my wife had been married before, we had a small-ish wedding. Still fully suited & booted with awsome photos etc, but as we were already established with a place to live and creature comforts from our previous partners, we were lucky that family and freinds helped out with wedding stuff as gifts. My wife made the cake, brother-in-law hired the car, parents sorted the honeymoon, Kate`s Uncle worked for Budwieser cheers..
The best day ever. I can see how it does end up costing so much money though

as vocky said you spend what you earn , if you got a job on a 10k rise a year more you would only go out and spend more , when you sit at home you dont feel any better off.

plus the fricking stealing bastard tax man takes more 12k tax i paid last year

22 and earnt 23k the last tax year, before tax mind, came to 18k after. Looking to start my own business so hopefully that'll see me right in a good few years for my own house.
