A change of jobs for me!!!

Well the time has come...... the Jaguar aircraft that I have been working on for the last 12yrs (bar trainning courses etc), is being disbanded this month. cryb..
We were expecting it to come to an end October this year but as usual in my line of work things change! (& were the last to know) Its been quite good as I`m still awaiting disposal instuctions so works quite quiet, giving me more time dabble more on the forum. 😃

Im ex 6 Sqn (the jet in the for-ground) now (last 5 yrs) working on the ECM Pod (Electronis Counter Measures)/(on the out-board pylon),..... should I say preparing them for scrapping. Justwaiting timenow, Im pretty much guarantied to stay at Marham, just don`t know where abouts dunno..
Sorry this is a bit irrelivant to the forum!

Cheers fella, Im not too fussed where they put me, dont fancy anything that sends me out of the country for weeks on end.
I`ve had some great detatchments over the years but with started to settle a bit now with the wife (her 2 kids) and our little-un.
Gonna look at my air-box this weekend if I get the time. 20.gif

Victors!!!!! ......got one as a gate guardian at Marham, not a day goes by without my sargranting about them. Bit before my time Im afraid, but a few beers are definately on the adgenda. 😃

Just got my posting notice through, Im staying at Marham which is great but Im off to another Bay.
The equipment I`ve been working on is old hat now and never really left the building, bar the odd trainning exersice,
The new stuff gets stuffed on the bottom of a Tornado and goes to jolly places such as Afganistan, Aludied, and other places that get mortered daily. woohoo.gif
Hopefully on out of area rates and saving back home, I can save a bit of cash and eventually do something to the Veccy 😃

Cheers Matt, your right, Im really settled now in Norfolk (not the best choice of jobs for location stability). Its just going to be hard with the detatchments as Ive never really been away since I met & married Kate, bar the odd trainning course, but then I was back weekends. Courtney, our little-un is only two and I think Ill find being away from her the hardest. Still it pays the bills so I can`t really moan. .. .. Could have joined the Army!!!!!!
