Help with radio code???

Very cleverley took my sterio out today on my veccy... To do some wiring for my sub and amp..

Totaly forgetting about the radio code.. Doh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?

Anyone know or can help me with getting hold of my code please notsure.gif

a couple of ways of getting the code,

first = main dealer, you need logbook + proof of ID

second = some places can decode them - not sure who or where 🙂

I havent recieved my log book back yet thats gonna be a problem :?

I have heard there is some sites you can visit that can do it for you is that right does anyone know :?

Have you not got the owners manual pack (Grey Leather Wallet) with the car. The Car Pass card should be in with the wallet. This card contains all the info for the radio and keys and chassis number etc.

If you havent got the radio code then you dont have the pass card. I would go to your vauxhall dealer and ask them for a replacement card. Give them the Reg and your details and VX UK will check them against the DVLA. What this will also mean is that you will get back the key codes for the radio the key number for the locks and also the security codes needed for immobilisers and alarms. This will be cheaper than some back street shop and more useful. My VX dealer got back the info and got me a new steering lock and two keys in 3 days. 8)
Cost of the codes £15 +vat

hold in the AS button, turn on the unit, let go of AS button when "- - - - code" appears, push button repeatedly until correct number displayed by:

button 1 for first number, button 2 for second, button 3 for third, button 4 for fourth

then hold in AS button until unit kicks into life
