greene36 i want to remove the precat and was just wondering if you have to take the cat off aswell when you take the precat off as i have seen the aftermarket ones are just the precat, will ours come off like this? cheers
vocky the precat mesh is simply removed from the downpipe 🙂 the main cat is left alone for emissions and mot.
greene36 i mean you can by them from places like courtney as just i precat pipe (looks like just a small pipe) can i take it off as just a small pipe so i can do the drilling etc or is it connected to the cat and have to take that off while i do the precat removal. i dunno how clear i was then its just a bit hard to explain. cheers for that.
vocky the precat is welded to the downpipe, to drill out the precat requires the downpipe/ cat section to be removed. don't remove the lambda sensors, just unplug them 🙂 hope this helps cheers..
