Hi Guys, Just wanted to ask something, maybe its me or what but is the z22se engine a noisey engine.
i have just blanked off my egr and had a propper knackered manifold replaced.
she drives beautiful now and altho im only gettin 27 - 28 mpg now ( i thinks that cus im puttin my foot down more now i have more power)
to me when im driving im concouis of the engine noise - i mean its not knockin or clangin or anything just usual engine noise.
my mate who as a V6 2.6 was surprised and says mine pulls better than his and is a lot quieter and smoother... is it me ?
ive had my middle section replaced with remus and a magnex backbox i must gettin some more bhp now - now that ive had a custom manifold put on too -
its just when i drive now - especially when i put in like second and try to set off theres a bit of noise like the exhuast leakin or somate but ive had it all checked and my mate listened and just said its the engine under load but its fine...
maybe i need more oil but can never get a propper reading.....
what you think guys... is it me...is the z22se alittle noisey...shes as quiet as mouse when idle altho alittle lumpy.......
