the egr can (on later ecu's) be switched off, cost £30 or so by dealer :evil:

earlier ecu's (like my vectra) cannot be switched off 🙁
so if your valve is duff, you have to buy a new one, cost over £100 🙁
the 'egr cheater' will replace the valve, so more money for mods 😃
ps:
the blanking plate can still be fitted with the valve simply 'swung' to the side of the blanking plate.
but with the 'egr cheater' the egr valve is removed 🙂
