Europa_Blue_SE1 Tried to remove the plugs from my Dads 2000 3 LTR Jag S-Type first 3 no problem but the last 3 look as if they're gonna be a c*** they are located under the inlet manifold and not just the hassle of removing that to remove it I am gonna have to remove the coolant hose :evil: Does anyone know if there is any easier acces to the plugs or if that's the way I'm gonna have to do it... pain in the ar** but looks like that's what I'm gonna have to do please someone tell me there's an easier way dunno.. cheers.. Daz I think its def a inlet manifold off job...can remember one of my m8's in work doin one and was cussing for hrs....

joey Defo on the inlet removal and dont forget to listern to some whale music as you need to stay nice n calm. Dont be suprised if they look as they`ve never been done before as most places may not be arsed to mess about with the rears.
Europa_Blue_SE1 Yea can imagine Joey mate when we had a look at the 3 we could get to the gap was massive and they were meant to have been done not that long ago so I'm dreading seeing the 3 under the inlet gonna garage it over the weekend and get my Dads Jag done then get my Astra in next week for the chain etc and yea can imagine it's gonna be a bit of a c**t so trying to stay calm WILL be an issue...LOL
joey The oredr I do them is to remove the inlet, spray wd40 on plugs, do the fronts then do the rears. Hope everything went ok m8.
Europa_Blue_SE1 Didn't bother doing it Joey mate my Dad hasn't been feeling to well so we thought we'd leave it the now till he feels a bit better or else he'd end up exploding and wrecking the car at the first hurdle he's the same as me has a few anger issues!!! LOL But thanks for asking he was saying last night he might just get his pal to do them he has a ramp etc and all tools needed to do the job as my Uncle has all our tools at the moment I'll need to get them for doing my chain though but he's over in Spain at the moment :evil:
