Blowing CAT

I think my CAT is blowing again.

Going to get the exhaust manifold heat sheild off at the weekend to have a look.

I've already had two CAT's (and one exhaust manifold) go in the four years I've had the car.

The last CAT I bought from Vauxhall was £380, and that was only 20 months ago.

Are there any cheap ones out there ?.

its usualy the flexi that blows, i've replaced my cat twice in 2 and a half years and i think its blowing again. this time i'm gonna get the felxi cut out and a new one welded in.

I ended up buying a cheap one from Online Automotive for £109 delivered.

Got it fitted today.

It does sound slightly louder (in a good way) than the previous vauxhall one. It was a bit loud before anyway, because of the remus centre pipe.

Didn't take the pre-cat out. However, the pre-cat that was in there was only half the size of the vauxhall one, and the holes were a lot bigger.
