why did you choose your username ?

I bought a new vectra in April 1996 and my family called it the vocky vec 🙂

The name changed over to each new vectra loopy..

So when I joined vvoc it seemed a bit of fun to use the car's details as the member :roll:

By then it was my sri150 and the tuning bug had started, the info was thin on the ground and the vx220 site seemed a logical site to join.

They do like to flame the vectra on there csh.. so I dropped the vec and became vocky, which is the username I use on all the sites I visit.

So any longer stories :lol:

Back in the days of the original Unreal Tournament, me and my brother set up an assault clan. This was my first foray (sp?) into the online world and i loved every minute of it. I had to think of a decent nickname, but i couldnt so i just used Lightning. Now, almost 8 years on, i still use it in one form or another. l1ghtn1ng is the most common one i use as lightning is nearly always taken on any forum or any game you play these days, but i dont really mind.

I've used my hotmail address [lightningnrg@hotmail.com](mailto:lightningnrg@hotmail.com) (nrg being our UT clan name) for as long as i've been online (8 years ish). Im actually quite proud of this fact 🙂

Santa, because i got told if i grew a beard, sat in a shop window, with a red jacket on, and some presents, people would call me Santa. So it kinda stuck from there, been Santa on sites for around 4-5 years now. Others are podgelows (nick name is podge, last name is lowrey), and mini mission on another one (because we had been going on some missions in my mates mini, and it kinda clicked as i didnt want people knowing who i was to start with!! lol).

Well, my name is Matt, so my username is Matt 😃

I normally use matt1206 though, on sites where Matt is already taken. The matt part is pretty obvious, but the 1206 is for 12th June, as that seems to be an important date for me. It's the day I started going out with my first girlfriend, the day I started work, and it's now my future wife's birthday, so it's always stuck.

my second name is hepburn, and i get called heppy by nearly everyone. on my 17th birthday i was going to get a private number plate so i went for h3 ppy= heppy!!

unfortunatly(sp?) i couldnt get it so i decided to use it for my screen name instead!!! :lol:
