the girl friend was driving the car home today and the exhaust emmision light came on(the orange fault one)!!!!
would this have anything to do with my egr being blanked off(it is not unplugged)
i have noticed that the join between the cat and the centre section is very rusty and rattles a bit wen you close the door hard. this could be leaking so would it cause the light to come on??
i would think it would not cause it as it is after the lamba sensors???
and finally, :roll: would this maybe be the cause off the spluttering and holding back when accelarating if it was found to be the exhaust blowing??? or possibly a blocked cat???

oh, and does the car need to be plugged in to a computer to reset the fault???
