Did my time as an apprentice at what used to be British Aerospace as a pipework systems engineer and then changed direction to become a machinist. 14 years on and I'm a Team Leader on the 5-Axis Machining Facility at a local engineering company producing Class 1 aircraft components for Airbus, GKN and Boeing.
