ANY PICS OF LOCATION WOULD BE GREAT THANKS I HAVE A 2.2 SRI ASTRA HATCHBACK THANKS PLEASE HELP AS SUMMER IS HERE .. HAVE GOT A BOTTLE AND A GAUGE FROM HALFORDS JUST WONDERING WHERE I CAN LOCATE THE VALVE TO REGAS IT THANKS
dodger i believe on is on the top of the compressor and the other is on the left hand side of the engine, good luck with regassing your air con, it is not easy, a mate of mine does it for me he has one bottle with two gauges.
JohnnyN I'm always wondering about these kits from Halfords?? Personally its something i'd leave to the experts but I hope it works for you. A professional regassing includes checks for leaks in the system for ozone unfriendly gases. I used a local aircon specialist who checked the system over first and it ended up that my pipe at the back over the rocker cover was split. It wasn't visable to the naked eye. 8)
ANDREW22 HI I HAVE FOUND A VALVE IN THE MIDDLE LIKE A CAR VALVE AND HAVE NOTICE A LARGER ONE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE . NOT SURE WHICH ON TO USE AS THE ONE IN THE MIDDLE IS NOT THE RIGHT SIZE AND THE ONE ON THE LEFT IS LARGER WHICH MAKES ME BELIVE I USE THIS THANKS ANY HELP WOULD BE GOOD THANKS
JohnnyN I think you'll find that the valve towards the middle is the fuel pressure release valve that goes to the fuel rail. :roll:
