What hours you working a week?

The last few weeks I have been working alot. Last week I did 57 hours and I have just worked out what I have done this week and it's nearly 67 hours! I have been working 7 days this week and I have just got in from work. Time to chill out now 🙂. The hours above is with my overtime

I managed about 20 ish this week, I'm working too hard :lol:

but on occasions I've worked 24 hours in a 26 hour period :cry:

my contracted hours are 37 hours but usually do around 40 hours bit of commitment ;-)

Anywhere between 47.5 to 60 hours a week. Contracted hours are 39 hours.

i work from when my boss picks me up to when i get dropped off, it can range from say 6hrs a day to roughly 9-10hrs and at worst 12+ a day
depending on what were are doing as if we are stripping out heating/hotwater we always try to leave them with one or the other!

Should be 37 for me.....but more like 50 or so most weeks

I'm contracted to work 37 hours a week, but thats devided by the hours I work in a year, and the number of weeks. In reality, depending on what week it is in my shift pattern, I can work anywhere from 24 hours a week, when I work Wednesday and Thursday 12 hours each, to 60 hours when I work Monday (day), Tuesday (day), Friday (night), Saturday (night) and Sunday (night). This also doesn't take into account OT, where I can do upto an extra 50 hours a month sometimes depending on staff levels.

I start 830 and fin 530 on the nail everyday....and work every other saturday morning....

i do a minimum of 40hrs a week but it can go up alot depending on how busy we are.

i cant pick and choose when i do overtime, as it is only when we are busy!!! i get no choice :roll:

We are quite lucky with OT, as we always need someone to cover leave/sickness etc, as we only have minimum staffing levels at the minute. I've done 6.5 hours today on double time 😃

Im contracted to 40 hrs per week (8 per day) but i do the odd bit of O/T. today i did 10 hrs at £16 per hour, sunday so its double time!!!!

Thats decent Andy for a Sunday 🙂. I get £15 for Sundays. I started yesterday at 7:00am and worked til 4:30pm

Thats why I like Sundays as well. I've just worked out my OT for a Sunday. I only get OT on my basic salery, so that doesn't include my shift allowance or supervisor allwance, and t's £20.79 per hour. If it included all my extras it would be £29.10 🙁

Sounds like you lot have it easy.
Worked at various places but 1hr where i am now is worth 3hrs at most places, a lot more in public/government controlled places! Add the lack of holidays 8 + Christmas and statutory if dont fall on a Friday, 40

hrs, no breaks, the only stoppage is 1/4hr dinner! Then a 34 1/2 mile laborious journey home 1hr on A, B, C and unnamed roads some of which in the middle of nowhere hence pitch black in winter until 8 miles from a town.
What this amounts to is in a decent company you would work close on 4 months less per year.

Had to knock additional job on at home, totally variable 6 to 48 hrs per week plus above work when the company was only 3 miles away.
Now rarely take machining work on due to lack of time. Still owe stuff from 13 months ago plus foreign jobs promised early Nov to Belgium and NZ.

Lol, i got it easy then. 8.30 - 5.30, although by the time i usually roll round its 8.45, then theres the hour lunch break 1-2pm, so 7hours a day five days a week, dont work weekends so 35hours a week and thats your lot.
