Jamee Afternoon, new to the site, and nice site it is. Does anyone know what lowering springs are the best for a 2.2 astra coupe, i wanted eilbach, but they only do 30/30mm, i ideally want 50/40mm?? Thanks Jamee.
Jamee I dont think they are mate, i used to have the 2.2 hatch and it was lowered 20mm standard, as with the gsi's and sri turbos, they are all lower as standard.
Europa_Blue_SE1 Hey mate I have 55mm/35mm H&R Springs & Dampers looks the dogs mate and are amazing when ragging it on private roads of coarse... LOL Corners SO WELL love them and that's with crappy tyres so can't wait to get my Goodyear Eagle GSD3s on 😉 ...
Europa_Blue_SE1 By the way all Vauxhall Astra Sport Models are lowered 20mm from the SXi to the GSi don't know about the Coupe being lower than the hatchback though really the only way to tell would be to put a standard Coupe and a SXi etc Hatchback together and measure from the ground to the lip dunno..
Mark_Dj I had Irmscher springs on my Coupe but I think it was only a 30mm drop. I thought it looked good 🙂
Jamee cool nice on, mark, with the 30mm springs, the back looks ok,but the front is still too high, nice car tho.
Andy_Coupe I have the Eibach 30/30 on my coupe, handles well but i would like it lower on the front! The 50/30 isnt list for the coupe as the rear axel load is lighter so you wont get the full 30 mm drop!
gaps mine has mudflaps which already ground out over undulations in the road when driving quick, is there springs with variable rate that keep the standard ride height especially for the front, the rear seems ok?
