Aquirred my new project 2day

Got the base for my new project today...

And best of all...it was FREE

Opel Corsa 1.2 LHD

Not sure wot to do with it yet.... do i

1.Street sleeper it with a c20let or similar

2.Track car with as above

Do something totally diff with it....

Opionins guys...

Forgot to add it wont go....no spark...think the most likely cause is the ignition module...need to find a free one to test it ...

A sleeper would be nice for that I think. A 2.0 or Turbo would be good 🙂. Not bad for free 🙂

convert it to RHD, I did with an Opel Manta, great fun 😃

and stick a z22se in it or a 2.0 8v 8)

2.0 8 valves a possibilty... think i'll leave it LHd as its summat diferent to the norn u see...

Need to get the 1.2 running to get it in on the ramp and see wot its like underneath....i mot'd it last year so it cant be that bad..

that looks great for a project Daz but what you do with it really depends on budget. My first thought would be to stick a LET in it but everyone seems to do that these days so why not try something different. would you get a vectra gsi engine in there? i'm sure i've seen a couple with v6 engines in notsure.gif

Andy you got me thinking now.....mmmmm descions....

Still aint got the dam thing goin(some sort of mechanic aint i lol)....No spark...got power at the coil and checked the igntion module and it tested ok....

just push it on to the ramps and throw the 1.2 out!! :lol:

i would go with a 2.0 8v as they are fast enough and cheap to get, and with any spare cash i would get a set off throttle bodies!!!

Good news is i shud have sold the 1.2 thats in there so there some cash towards it anyhow....
