Uprated cams: Does it sound differant?

With uprated cams fitted, does the engine sound any differant?
Is the idle lumpy?

slight lumpy tickover - sounds like the engine means business :lol:

the exhaust note is also deeper and you can tell it's had something done to the engine drool.gif

mine slightly lumpy ...better when engine warms up.. and a better engine note now ive change to a magnex back box and 200 cell cat ... goes well once you start to hit 2k and above 3rd gear brill... down side the wife dont like the exhaust noise now

If you're looking to spend stupendous money like I did, then you won't notice any difference. I had Schrick Cams and Double Valve springs fitted to mine and you can't tell any difference in the running of the car until you hit around 4000rpm and then it all goes a bit mental upto 6500rpm!!
