guys need some advice, need to get some new tyres and "Toyo`s" have been mentioned a few times, specially the T1-R, does anyone know if theyre a decent tyre or not ????? puzzle..

i had them on my old car were very good tyres for the price mate thumbup

not tried them myself but have heard they are a fairly soft compound and don't last very long.

but like i said thats just what i've heard.

HI Mate, I run Toyo T1 - S which is the older type the T1-R is the new one I think.

I have had no problems, they stick very well when warm and dry. Pretty good in the wet too. Have done about 5k on these now and just some shoulder wear so far due to hard cornering, well thats what there for is'nt it .....

Ive used the toyo t1rs before and found them a very good tyre, bit soft though but thats the price you pay for grip. Im using yokohama parada spec 2s and these are fantastic, id recomend them to anyone.

i work for a tyre wholesale company. The toyo t1r is a good tyre soft compound and loads of grip and good wear rate.

I've had 2 sets of Toyo Proxeys and they are excellent. I would say they are equal to Goodyear Eagle F1's. Toyo are not that easy to get hold of locally though, thats why I only use Goodyear F1's.

Goodyear eagle f1 gsd3 for price and performance you cant get any better i hardly notice the roads are wet they are that good. wear is ok but that is always a trade off for good grip.

plus i see a lot of police patrol cars with them fitted i think that is a good sign as well

got toyo proxes on my vec, would rec.great handling and i think the tread patterns look good as well.

I have had toyos but it would have to be Goodyear eagle f1 gsd3 for me otherwise Avon ZZ3!
