baldie87 everytime i start the car it over revs and sits just under 2,000 and after about 30secs - 1 minute it gradualy goes down and sits normaly. is this normal or is somthing wrong? cheerz
dodger that sounds about right, it could be that the battery is a little flat and it's re-charging it by holding the revs up a little longer. A previous car i had used increase the revs for that very reason. nothing to worry about
vocky might be worth removing the throttle body and cleaning it also worth resetting the ecu afterwards and then the usual 30 mile below 4k revs to allow the ecu to settle 🙂 but 'they all do it' to a certain extent 🙂
