bertone_ben i am thinking of keeping the irmy back box but getting a straight through centre section. will it be very loud. i dont want it to be very loud but make a nice noise if ya know what i mean.
Matt I think this is what Sjdickso has just had done, and his sounds very nice. Not loud, it's just got a nice note to it.
jayp1983 just dont do what ive gone an done, make your own straight though and weld up a 4" bkbox it is very loud when puttin pedal to floor, pops nice though!
Sjdickso Like Matt says i have just had this done, with the standard irmsher back box the sound is the same as a standard until 3.5K and then you get a slightly throatier sound. It gatgles a bit on tickover. I found a slight increase in response in second gear too.
SriSte Strange, ive got the standard sri squarebox and remus centre section, and its louder all the time, at low revs it really booms in built up areas.
Sjdickso Best place is ebay the actual outlet is LMF but they are £10 less then LMF direct i think it is around £67 inc vat and del.
jayp1983 ive seen the middle section (straight through) in total vauxhall from sportex for £40-£50. they must be similar to the remus?? dunno..
Sjdickso They are similar but are not stainless steel so will rust over a period time. Remus ones are stainless just painted black. Cybox also do them but are around £10 but are not painted. Hope this helps
