It's worth a try mate, but according to the VX memo;
The costs for this repair will be covered for vehicles until 31.12.2007 and
a mileage lower than 100.000 Km.
You may struggle because your mileage is outside their guidelines, but they replaced mine and mine wasn't broken, just rattling.
