nobody has yet cracked the z22se mapping :shock:
a z22se remap just uses the factory 'allowances' to alter the fuel and mainly just alters the throttle response :shock:
when you put your foot on the throttle pedal the throttle body opens electronically, so if you increase the response it appears you have more power :roll:
so by using the factory 'allowances' (for fuel) extra power can be gained through the rev range, but max power gains are usually small :roll:
some places alter the transmission power loss figures on the rolling road to claim big increases from a remap.
there was a classic case on vvoc last year, the guy was told he got a 40 bhp increase from his remap on his 2.5 v6, but the wheel figures (WHP) were the same :shock:
he was not a happy chappy when it was pointed out :lol:
