Different ECUs

hi there, just new to the forum, but i've had this question for some time...

how is it that the vectra sri 150 has 150bhp and yet my 2.2 coupe only has 136 ? they are both the same engines basically.. is it possible to just replace my ecu with one from an sri150 ? if not, why not ? and wot about the sri/gsi astra g's that also have more power than the 2.2 coupe

Hello mate. All the z22se engines have around the same Bhp 147bhp as standard, the Vectra Sri 150 is just badged up as 150 not meaning it has 150bhp. I thought the same a while back but found out we all have around the same bhp in the z22se engine :wink: . Welcome to the forum 😃

the 150 stands for 150ps rather than 150bhp
