ive finally got my new engine fitted ,its been sat in the garage for 2 weeks i cant complain though hes done the engine swap for 400 quid.
its running really smooth cant rev it hard yet for 1k miles till its ran in . one problem though the new engine didnt have the hole for the oil level indicator, my mechanic didnt want to swap sumps till i spoke to the engine supplier, my mech thinks it will unscrew from the old sump but the haynes manual says that the oil level probe sits inside the sump and that you have to remove the sump to get it out, im also presuming that the probe is attached from the inside. some advice needed please!
