Appologies if this has been asked before - I didn't see anything.
Since I can now finally get to the manifold in my 220, I figured I might have a go at replacing it with a nice stainless tubular jobby, without the EGR cutouts. Options so far appear to be:
Regal 4:1 - £400ish
TMS's 4:1 when it comes out - judging by everything else he sells it'll cost about a million pounds though
WeaponR - £200ish? But i don't really want to cut bits out of my boot out for it 🙂
Looking at the original manifold it seems quite simple to make a 4:1 section with the same flanges on. Has anyone taken one to a custom exhaust place and asked for a quote? Obviously 4:2:1 would be better but i think just the derestriction of the larger pipes would help - and the price has to be quite sensible surely?
