COOLANT LOSS

Car has internal coolant leakage. Just had new head gasket with head pressure tested and skimmed so eliminated as likely cause.

Cause now suspected cracked cylinder liner.

Has anyone had experience of using:-

a) Wynns Cylinder Block Seal?

b) CarGo Seal Up?

c) Bars Sealant?

it's probably the head has cracked 🙁

this is becoming a problem with the z22se :shock:

Head has been pressure tested and skimmed with head gasket replacement. All OK

Is there any source for good quality detailed drawing showing x-section through z22se engine?? Haynes manual no good.

the engine block is quite strong, they have steel liners, but it could be cracked dunno..

I have found a small leak on the backside of the engine ( same side as exhaust)

there is a hose that has a "split"

it seems like there is a werry small leek in this split on my car :oops:

not the waterpump ? - they can introduce oil to the cooling circuit - so i guess vice versa too
